Musical Director - Di O'Toole

Di has been the Musical Director of Cygnet Singers since 2001.  
A former school music teacher in both primary and secondary schools, she was for many years associated with teacher training programs in music education at the University of Tasmania and curriculum development in the Department of Education, Tasmania.
Di first joined a choir at age 11, and has been singing in choirs ever since. Now retired, she sings in TSO Chorus and Allegri Ensemble.

Di began accompanying the Cygnet Singers in 1985, and has been involved either behind the piano or in the alto section ever since! It has always been a family concern, with her father Vic, husband Joe, and all four children having had some level of involvement through the choir's long history.
